Hi, we have opened an immi account and have our TRN number form our agent. Do we use the import application option to view it? and if we do will it move from our agents account to ours or do we just get to view it and nothing more. We are afraid of causing any problems with the process by interfering but we are not getting much feed back from our agent and we are almost 4 months on from submitting it. We were allocated a case officer September 9th. Thanks

Apologies for the long post in advance...... we are awaiting the grant of our 190 visa (submitted 15th July) we have recently been to Brisbane to do a reccie and found a house which we like and have had a price/ contract agreed. As we don't have our visa yet we were told to apply for FIRB permission to purchase a house. We have applied for FIRB permission and they have come back and said no as it is a second hand house not brand new!!! Also as we went out for a reccie on a visitor visa (ETA) they have said we cannot purchase a house when we have an active ETA??? Does anyone know anything about this please as we want to buy this property and have paid deposit subject to FIRB approval and don't know when our PR visa is going to come through. Any thoughts please?? Thanks

Hi we have been sent an invitation for 190 state sponsor for NSW but we also have EOI in for 189 visa. We want to live in Brisbane really. Our agent has said that we will have to live and work in NSW for 2 years which is not ideal with a young family if we eventually want to move to Brisbane. Someone mentioned on "Poms wanting Oz" facebook thread that the state 190 are only a moral obligation to live and work in state and we won't have to? Does anyone know anything about this please? Don't want to go ahead with 190 and not live in NSW if in the future it jeopardises our citizenship!! Thanks Dawn
