  1. Good day, I wish to inquire my eligibility of securing invitation for state sponsorship from NSW. I am meeting the point criteria and scoring 60 points on my EOI (if 5 points are included from state sponsorship) . My point score can be broken down as follows 1. Age 30 points 2. Skill assessment 15 points (Skills positively assessed by Engineers Australia as Telecommunication Engineer ANZSCO 263311) 3. English Language Proficiency 10 points 4. State sponsorship 5 points Total 60 points Though I have been working for the past 6 years and 5 months, but, my work experience is partially relevant to my nominated occupation that's why I have not claimed points of my work experience . Yet I have mentioned my work experience in my EOI. Also I noticed from NSW website that work-experience has not been defined as a mandatory criteria for securing state sponsorship. Response from the members who have or had successfully secured NSW state sponsorship regarding invitation criteria with respect to my current circumstances shall be highly appreciated.
  2. Thanks Marky; I have thoroughly assessed eligibility criteria of all the state sponsorship and came to know that NSW state sponsorship specifically doesn't mention "Work experience" as its eligibility requirement. Hence I made my EOI with respect to NSW state sponsorship (specifically mentioning NSW as the province seeking nomination from); My point score is 60; However it was mentioned in the website that high ranked candidates would be invited first ; So I assume it would be highly likely that a person with an age in maximum point bracket (30 points), competent English (all 6's in IELTS but 0 points), skill assessment (15 points) and minimum 5 years of experience (10 points) would be securing equal points as mine (55 points) but because of experience, he would much preferred to secure state nomination. Though I am not willing to claim points due to my employer restriction, but still I have more than 6 years of experience in pocket so I was thinking to mention my experience in the experience column but not to claim work experience points by letting "relevant experience" checkbox remain unchecked. I think it would give a good impression as I am not a new-bie but possess experience. Do you think it would give me an edge and maximize my chances of securing NSW state sponsorship?
  3. Thanks marky, that's bit of a help could you help me suggesting any state sponsorship with my specifications as follows Age : 29 (30 points) Skill Assessment : Positive, Engineers Australia (Telecommunications Engineer ANZSCO 263311) (15 points) IELTS : Proficient (All 7's L 8.5, R 7.5, W 7.0, S 7.5) (10 points) Total 55 Points
  4. My point score in submitted EOI amounts to 60 (including 5 points for 190 state sponsorship) and 65 (including 10 points for 489 provisional regional sponsorship), however this point score doesn't include any points for work experience (even after having almost 6 years of work experience, my employer not willing to issue an experience letter) ; In fact, I initially applied through mentioning experience and got 189 ITA, went through the whole procedure but HR refused to the DIBP calls due to which my 189 application got rejected and loads of money went down the drain, therefore this time I am willing to play clean by securing those 5 points by state sponsorship; I know 190 is a permanent visa and without experience it is not possible to 190 get invitation that's why my primary aim is to secure 489 ITA and move, then fetch a job and after an year or more file for permanent visa (887) could any one tell me that what are my chances for securing an ITA for 190/489 category, I don't have any preference and willing to relocate anywhere (even at the low population suburban areas); Thanks!

  6. my bad ,but thanks for the information
  7. Could anyone with correct information help me in distinguishing between Internal and external checks for permanent visa processing ? I got a glitch in job verification and case officer invited me to submit a comment against the glitch/adverse information received (as why department was unable to contact my employer?) I defended my application through detailed comment and mentioned reason due to which contact couldn't be made; supported that comment by firm employment evidences; I got silence for months after submission of the comment and supporting evidences but later on was asked for fresh police clearance and health checks again; Now upon asking current status of my application, the case officer says that my application is going through external (national) security checks I have heard that internal check refers to your points claimed (Job, IELTS , Education etc) conducted by DIBP officer through phone calls or emails, while external check refers to background check concerning security and code of conduct of an applicant, performed by ASIO (Austrlian Security Intelligence Organization) ? please correct me if i am wrong ? Also I would like to mention here that my employer was never contacted again by DIBP since I submitted my detailed comment and supporting evidences and later-on new medical and police clearance; This puts a question mark as whether the internal check of my application was completed successfully or not ? If not, then why my application was pushed to external checks ? If yes , then would I be granted visa if my external checks come out with positive result ?? OR After completion of external checks they would get back to internal checks again and contact my employer ? Detailed response in this regard shall be highly appreciated
  8. A NEW UPDATE to my case guys !! Visa officer has been changed again and now he demands Medical Examinations as previous Medical Results got expired in between the processing time !! Any comments on this ??
  9. Dear fellas; Its been two years since I haven't been granted my subclass-189 visa; (application submitted on sep-2014) My job verification part suffered a bubble/gap; as when immigration officer phoned at my office to confirm my job, my manager was at vacations; Immigration officer was informed and advised by the substitute manager to call upon my manager's arrival, with tentative date also being shared, but, he didn't call/approach, instead he passed a negative feedback, and, I got an adverse information letter from my assigned visa case officer, in which, it was mentioned that, department was unable to verify my job and I have to comment on this finding; (this story happened between may 2015-june 2015) I submitted a detailed comment highlighting the whole story and my manager's absence; I also provided additional evidences to solidify my job experience (such as my bank account statement, clearly mentioning my Employer name as source of salary credit, office ID card and latest payslip with monthly pay figure coinciding to the one mentioned in account statement); I requested them to re-approach my employer; Months later I got a request letter from DIBP; In which, I noticed that, my visa case officer has been changed, and she demanded me a fresh police clearance to process my case; I got my fresh police certificate issued within a day or two and submitted; (This happened in Dec-2015) Months later when no response came, I mailed for current status of my visa application; days later, I got reply from my new visa officer that " She has received my police certificate, but she is waiting for some other "internal assessments" to complete , before she can finalize my visa application; This happened in 5th Feb 2016, and, since then I got no response from my visa case officer, or anyone from DIBP; One question that bothered me is :" Why she asked for police certificate, when there were some assessments already on the go?? Police clearance has a validity of 6 months and what if this newly submitted certificate expires while the internal assessments still unfinished ?? then I have to submit fresh police clearance again and again and again?? Police certificate in my country is not easy to fetch as inspectors sitting in local police station consider it as a way to earn huge sums of money; bribery is at its peak and one has to pay thousands of rupees to issue a police certificate; visa case officer had to wait first for all internal assessments to finish, and upon viewing the outcome of those assessments, had demanded the fresh police clearance accordingly ! Now I am totally clueless as how to push my case, what to do, what not to do, and what are those internal assessments? Could anybody please help me or guide me in this regard; Responses shall be way too much appreciated as my bulk of time, money and effort is on the line and I am so stressed to think about this investment please help
  10. I have submitted my genuine office card (with all my details on it), I have submitted my genuine bank account statement with my employer name written as a source of salary credit ; The immigration officer already made a call attempt to my actual workplace and he has been informed as well that "Person by my name works in this office", but he wanted to talk with my manager (whose name was written on the letter); Even Immigration officer was informed by the substitute manager that my Actual manager is on vacations; I am ready to be checked by all means from the Immigration officer, I have mentioned in my submitted draft that immigration officer may visit my office and meet me and my manager personally (if he has the ability to pay airfare to travel at my city and reach at my office; because he is sniffing like a Dog so he should act like a Dog too); But in all that "Don't involve the GODDAMN HR" by being over-smart and just talk to my manager only as HR is not cooperative in the said matter!
  11. yep russell its registered and have an ABN number as well; In Australia, they have their office in Melbourne!
  12. yep I've boldly emphasized in my submitted draft to make contact again with my manager, I hope DIBP follows it the same way
  13. Thanks for some assisting words bungo , really appreciated, but my case is already through a migration consultant and I am just too saturated that I am not willing to spend more money to hire some other consultant!
  14. Actually my case is through a consultant and I have paid them too , so if I withdraw, I would be loosing more than half a million in my country's denomination; I ask them what to do and they just say to wait; They know that its not their loss even if I get rejected as they have already made me signed an affidavit which states that they are only processing my application according to the correct migration procedure and that visa grant is entirely at the discretion of DIBP; To me they are just nothing but a bunch of inexperienced peeps and most of the times I guide them who take my case through; sometimes I wonder why I hired them but Its useless to cry over spilt milk!!!
  15. My 189 case has gone a bit of inconclusive as job verification didn't sail smoothly; initially verification calls came but my manager was on vacations, then when my manager joined the office, the immigration officer who called was informed (by substitute manager who responded to the initial calls during my manager's absence) regarding my manager's arrival via phone call as Immigration officer gave his contact details to the substitute manager and requested him to inform when my manager comes back; The tentative time of my manager's arrival was also shared with the Immigration officer But in between, the immigration officer became restless, made few more call attempts to office (even after he was told regarding my manager's absence) and then tried being over-smart by approaching HR directly (our HR doesn't encourage job verification for Immigration so they didn't respond to his calls ; in-fact that is the reason why many of the officers of our organization, who wish to apply for immigration get their employment verified by their immediate managers/supervisors); HR never responded to his calls/faxes; The immigration officer without even trying to make contact with my manager, took not much time to provide negative feedback to DIBP (Australia), against which I got an adverse information letter from my GSM Visa officer as they were not able to establish contact with my company and that I should provide clarification as why didn't they respond; I submitted my detailed comment, supported by my genuine payslip, office ID card and account statement (clearly depicting my Employer name as salary creditor to my account); I apologized to the DIBP for inconvenience faced in my job verification in the submitted draft , and requested them to make contact with my manager again, I emphasized on the provided supporting employment evidences and requested them to verify their authenticity as well by approaching my bank etc. Its been a month and a half since I submitted my comment and till now there is nothing but silence from the DIBP side; My manager will fully cooperate if he gets the call but I am certain that my HR wouldn't (that's I took my experience letter from my manager, rather than HR and made mentioned all the contact details of my manager, not of my HR; still I wonder why that Immigration officer didn't follow that letter and approached HR directly (I assume he got the contact details of HR from the website) instead of showing some patience and making contact again with my manager) Being uncertain about my fate pertaining to this application, a thought came in my mind to withdraw this application and apply a fresh case (with disclosure of my part-time employment only this time; its kinda relevant, around 4 years and I recently pursued them and feeling was a delight that they not only recognized me but also agreed to issue me a letter as per the requirements specified by DIBP) In connection to this, I would like some serious suggestions and opinions from the expert that what should I really do; wait a more with this application and show hope ? or move out with a new application? Most importantly I would like to ask that What If I withdraw my application? would DIBP refund my visa fee? or not? I belong to a 3rd world country and this amount means pretty much to me ? might people living in prospering countries can redeem it in their month's salary, but for people like us, it is usually a salary of a half an year (or even more); so it means alot! In every correspondence letter they send, it is clearly written on that letter that an applicant can withdraw his application anytime as per his wish. If they write this, then I assume might there have been a refund option too . But it's only my assumption ! TO STAY OR TO MOVE ON? RESPONSE AWAITED
