Hi Nick... we both FIFO as you know... Karratha and Port Hedland have excellent camps with very good food. Some camps provide TV's Internet connections etc, depends who you will be working for. Linen provided etc. transport....
For example Rio have their x 2 camps....
A few months back, there were issues with some of the camps, guys not being able to obtain the same room for their shift, hopefully that has been sorted now.
Susie
Edited to add: At least a couple of times a week Nick we would go and eat at the camps, great menus and as outsiders as cheap as.

Mr Siam is an Electrician/Signals Technician Bridey... he obviously isnt fixed plant, (Iron ore Trains, presently seconded to KL ) but he thinks for fixed plant on FIFO around $150,000..... of course it depends which company etc but his friends earn around that on fixed plants....
If you want to pm me Bridey, then Mr Siam can tell you more.....
