Refrig Air Con Installer Or Welder which is most wanted in Brisbane?

I am coming over in about 3 or 4 months to Brisbane. Would love to live on the Sunshine Coast if possible.
Will I have more luck in Refrigeration Air Con or Welding? I know I need licence etc but is they still a demand for these trades are has Oz got enough?
Would I have more luck in Perth?

Any Refrig Air Con guys having problens getting work?
Also Welders how it going for you ?
Would be nice to hear from you if you living and working in Oz.

I've been fitting air con for over 4 years and will still have 1 or 2 problems with the tests.
It's not as cut and dry as you'd think.

welders dont need licences,(in QLD anyway) not sure about other states!!!! they are classed as "boilermakers" over here, (just incase u are lookin on job websites, cause we kept puttin in "welder" on careerone.com.au and not getting many results, but we soon realised it was "boliermaker" hope this helps

What part of Brisbane do you live in?
Did you get work quick or did it take some time?
Is the money Ok?
Are you doing Welding for your trade ?
Have they enough welders at the moment?
