      Childcare Coordinator/creche manager

I am applying for a visa and I am unsure which one to go for. My job is listed on the MODL and thinking that maybe a state sponsered visa is the way forward?

Also I have no idea where to start looking to see which state has the highest need for my job and could someone give me some advice on where is the best place for me and also my partner who owrks in Dry Lining -Dry Wall

      Thanks

      Hi,

I got my visa as Child-care Co-ordinator August 08. As long as the recent DIAC announcement does not contradict me I would go via the independant skilled migration (175), this means that you are free to do whatever you like i.e. move states (you never know what may happen).

If you do go the sponsership route, I would possibly say that WA may be the best state (I'm in WA and so don't actually know what the other states needs are). The reasons I say WA is because people say the mining/offshore boom is about to start again. Because of that leading the way, the population is set to increase massively and therefore more child-care will be needed

It also may be good for your partner because, the talk is that soon tradies will be in short supply due to the slow down in visas being granted together with the mines/offshore starting to employ people again, coupled with more construction to supply demand of the population growth.

I agree, always best to go the skilled independant route, it will give you PR straight away and you can live anywhere.

Know nothing about your partners line of work but I would say it would be best to go where he can get work and you should find a job easily if you are a qualified childcare worker, which you will be if you get through as a childcare coordinator. Loads of Director (manager) and 2iC (deputy manager) posts advertised daily.

I would also recommend using an agent or at least seeking intial advice from one. Childcare coordinator does not quite fit with Nursery manager as it covers older children too. I had to re write my stat dec because my wording did not quite match what they were looking for but a change in wording got me through.

You can find the criteria some where, on the diac site, probably where ever the modl is - I can't find my copy but it has probably changed since I did mine

      Good luck

hi. I would like to apply for the TRA as a childcare coordinator. Im making the documents, and I asked many agencies. However, most agencies do not have exprience about childcare coorinator. So they do not want to help me.

You already passed the TRA and got PR, right! That's really great!! If you can, please send me your TRA documents?

Please help me. This way is the only one to apply for the PR for me.
      Thank you

      Hi Peech,

We used The Emigration Group, our agent was Lee Bromfield. They were very knowledgable about the whole visa process as well as Child-care Co-ordinator, it may be helpful to have an initial assessment with them.
Unfortunately you will not be able to use other people's TRA documents as they are all personal to their own experience/work etc, i.e. references from staff members and parents, copies of purchase invoices addressed to the business, insurance certificates/OFSTED certificates for the business, thier job description etc, etc.

      Good luck with your process
