welding jobs/ bar jobs in melbourne

hey all ive been in melbourne for the last 8 or so weeks. im a fully qualified welder and have been welding aluminium for the last 7 1/2 years. ive been to a couple of welding jobs but so far i feel disheartened and as if ive just been used for cheap employment with a 'we'll let you know' feel about them (to which they dont reply), especially after being paid 150 dollars for 15 hours work. does anyone know of any welding jobs/agencys going as im getting seriously short of money now and i really dont want to go home. if not , does anyone know of any bar/ kitchen/ hotel/ labouring jobs going? in fact anything really!!! thanks all.

Have you approached Skilled Engineering they hire tradesmen out to places and often its the way to permanent job, think their pay is ok too.

If you have experience in kitchen portering/bar/waiting etc then I suggest you contact Pinnacle Hospitality :Pinnacle - The Travel and Hospitality People.
Petals advice about Skilled Engineering is spot on correct as well.

thanks for all the help everyone but unfortunately im off home on monday as ive run out of money here. i called skilled and the bloke from there (leigh) seemed a decent bloke in trying to get somthing sorted for me so thanks for pointing me in that direction. im gutted because ill be leaving behind a fantastic girl i met while out here. BUT!! ive already started applying for jobs in england so i can get enough money to come back out here hopefully in 2-3 months. my visa is valid until april next year so ive got a bit of time to get things sorted before i return.
