Hairdressing

Sorry if this sounds a bit like I am thick but I was just wondering I used to be a hairdresser years ago, I have a city & Guilds certificate. Would I be able to get a visa if I did a refresher course? Or would this not be good enough.

I know when i applied for TRA, i had to prove that i was still trading as a hairdresser, and not just doing hair for family and friends, i think it is something like 20 hours a week, but i'm sure someone else will be able to give you some info aswell. I have applied for a 176 visa

Best of luck

My wife's a hairdresser, she had to prove that she was still cutting hair, she needed refs from current employer all the way back to the company who trained her 20 years ago, and she also needed to supply refs from clients as she carried out mobile hairdressing too. She had to supply all her qualifications, diplomas, wage slips and accountants information for past 5 years to prove that she was currently trading as a hairdresser, all in all quite a lot of evidence is needed...
