Does anyone know what it's like trying to get a job in journalism in Sydney or Melbourne? I've got 6 years UK experience but only the years working visa for Oz. Would like to get work that will add to my CV rather than work behind a bar, pick fruit or mine - or is this wishful thinking?

The best thing to do is register your resume with all the city recruitment agencies. You quite often find they will have temporary or contract roles that will consider people on holiday working visas.
