Question training as a bricklayer

hi all

as to my last thread i am hoping to be in brisbane to learn bricklaying in july, does anyone know of where i can do collage work and work as a training bricklayer.
as i would have to do 900hrs training till i pass the exam.

Hi

The only college up that way that I know of is the Nambour Tafe on the Sunshine Coast. You also need to study for 2 years for the qualifiaction to be recognised by immigration.
Also, the hours you work don't count towards the 900 hours you need til you've qualified as a brickie.

thats not exactly true you do the 900 hours in the 2 years study but you also have to find 440 hours vocational placement.
