gas engineer jobs

hello there, this the first time i have created a thread on this site, i currently live in birmingham england and just started the long process of moving out to oz, im a britsh gas engineeer and wonderd what jobs are out there for me as a gas engineer.

Hi Adam,
Do you know where you will be going in Oz? My partner is a Gas engineer and we are moving to Sydney, there seem to be plenty of jobs there for him, Brisbane has alot too as there is so much construction there. I suppose it depends on where you go but any trade seems in demand over there. Good luck

Hi,

Not sure where you are headed, but as a gas engineer I would take it into account very seriously. The house up here in Queensland dont have gas heating, as it doesnt get cold enough, so little work on that front. Also very few houses have gas, and if the do have gas hobs it's usually LPG. Basically head south if you want to work in heating!
