What type of visa do I require to attend interviews?
If you are under 30 years of age you can come apply for a Working Holiday Visa for 1 year. This will allow you to work for up to three months for any one employer. It can also provide you with the option of looking at various organisations before deciding where you would prefer to work on a permanent basis.
An Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) Business visa would also allow you to investigate opportunities whilst in the country but not allow you to work.
This visa may last the life of your passport, but every 3 months you have to leave the country for a day in order to stay (a trip to New Zealand for the weekend would constitute this - cost approximately $400 for advance purchase fare), or you may come out on just an ETA Holiday visa, which will not allow you to work.
