is there anybody out there already working on the electrical distribution network for ENERGEX in brisbane? i work as a hv/lv jointer in uk and i am hoping to migrate to sunshine coast area 2009 and work for energex. i have heard of strike issues. can anyone elaborate. i would like to know if you feel you made the right move from uk to oz. whats the work like? are they a good company to work for?

I think my SIL knows someone who has gone over to work for them, my daughter may be on later so bumping this up so it's nearer the top.

Hi my hubby works for Energex but he is working at the moment...I will get him to post the ins and outs of the job when he gets back. All I know is that you will be wearing tight orange overalls !!!!
