Hi guys, wonder if anyone can help?? In the UK im a biomedical scientist - BMS1 band 6 with 3 years experience in clinical biochemistry. I believe in Oz i will be a Medical Laboratory Technical Officer?? Also in the UK i have to be registered to practice with the Health Professions Council and a member of the Institute of Biomedical Scientists. Can anyone tell me if i need to be registered to practice in Oz in the same way as at home, will my degree transfer without having to sit the AIMS exam in Oz? And last but not lease is my profession in demand, will i find it pretty easy find a job doing what i do when we come over!
