what job?

I am considering a move to australia(not sure where yet) and really need some help with the job situation over there. i am a coppersmith to trade (dont think much call for this over there)which covers steel fabrication,welding and pipework. can anyone tell me what the demand is for these jobs and the best place to move to to get a job in these fields?

cheers for that stuju, where you based about? ive been to oz a couple of years ago. went to sydney for 3 weeks. loved it but my girlfriends never been and wants to check it out first. i fancy trying perth or somewhere else as well. you or anyone else out there got any advice?

Ricky,
To be honest ive not been far round oz, hubby though has travelled round oz 3 times now & plans to take me sometime. He has lived in Perth for a while & New South Wales for quite alot of years - we do fancy trying Queensland but i would wanna go & check it out first.
We are currently on the central coast in New South Wales, but i really can't advise on wheres best to live.
