Hi my OH a vehcle painter & although not there yet arhhhhh! we were over at xmas for 3 months loads of jobs in brisbane courier paper anywhere from 15-40 jobs advertised. OH spoke to a few people & it seems most things in oz are sprayed cars, boats, kitchens & furniture places all looking 4 people OH as offered a few posts but gutted we couldn't (didn't want to get caught working while on hols visa)
As for wages eveyone seems different OH was told anywhere between $20 to $37 all depends on contract, casual but good news most seem to finish early on fridays woohoo!
have to make sure my job does to (cant have him lounging on beach without me!) LOL
