I'm not sure what will be the quickest, but seem to think that most of the skilled professions on the MODL require a number of years experience in order to pass the skills assessment.

If you already have a skill - can you apply for a visa on your skills, my hubby and I both had skilled occupations but just applied on mine (I'm a nurse and it seemed easier), he was automatically included on my application

If you need it for visa purposes then you are going to need 4/5 years work experience most likely to pass the skills assessment part of the process - for a tradie anyway. Would imagine that other skills have similar timeframes for experience.
