blue card

hi all,just a quick question about the blue card. im a painter by trade so will need one.have heard you can get one over net.has anyone done this if so how long does it last as we wont be moving untill end of year(as long as visa approved).is it similar to the cscs card we have here?.will also be looking for job as soon if visa granted(trying not to build hopes up too much)are there any sites worth looking at for jobs.

It takes a couple of hours to do online and a week or so for you card to come through.You can also go to a centre when you arrive here and do a 4hr course,they do them evenings too which is good if you have a job.There are lots of centres spread across brissy,,good luck

Hi i did my blue card over the net it took me about 3 hours and they sent the card to the uk at no extra cost, (that makes a nice change) the blue card is just like the uk cscs card, fully recomend blue dog training hope this helps, Guy
