I,m new to this site and looking to move to Australia next year with my wife and 2 children.
I currently work as a telecommunication engineer for BT and have done for 11 years so have a lot of expierence in this field, do any of you guys know what the job op would be for someone like me and any company names that may be interested or that i could contact.We are looking at going to either Perth or Brisbane. The other question I have is, How long before you have to arrive in AUS after you have been granted you visa.
Sorry can't help with the question regarding work, but if you type some of the key words into the search engine something may come out, as I am sure that other people have put a similar thread on here before.
Once your Visa is issued you have a year from the date of your medicals/police checks to validate (not 1 year from date visa issued), so care should be taken really on when your medicals and police are done.
