Is there anything for me ?

Was just wondering!!!!!!!!!! ( can you smell the burning )!! Ha ha!
We possibly coming out on a state sponsorship to Canberra, my OH will be the main earner and I said I would get children settled before I look for work. My problem is I have no qualifications , I have spent the last 12 yrs as a childminder working with some lovely children and their families but am not sure if I wish to continue this. Is there any jobs for people in my situation, I may not have to work but its always good to research these things.

kiwi is on a distinguished road
Hi, I'm in a similar position. I've worked as a caregiver for the elderly for the last 6 years, but would like a change and my customer service experience is sadly out of date. If you're willing to do anything I think you'll find a job, even if it's cleaning, cafe work or pumping gas. You may get work at a call centre, as experience is not always required, but the hours can be difficult.

If you don't need to work, why not take some training at TAFE when you're settled. Computer skills never go amiss as you need them for everything these days

And what about part time shop work, are they usually flexible (within reason) to accomodate school days off etc. and what kind of wages could be expected?
