What should I re-train as (lady)......

My first post - yaaay !

We will be moving to Oz in the next couple of years with my husbands job, so it gives me some time to re-train in something new and something which is "needed" in Oz.

I have been self employed inthe past running my own businesses, or I have been working as a PA in office to CEO's, etc. I'm also qualified as a Personal Trainer and as a Nutritionist, although that qualification isn't recognised in Oz.

I would like to do something which helps people, maybe a therapy of some sort, but am open to lots of new ideas.

Many thanks !

Nutritionist not recognized?? You sure??

Look on seek.com whilst most want a qualified dietitian, there are nutritionist jobs on there.

Out of all the clients ive helped relocate the trade with the most job offers so far is a hairdresser ,more job offers than she could accept .So for me it would have to be that ,at least i know i would always work.

Thank you all for your replies.

leanneandmarkYes I'm sure - I did some poxy diploma which cost a fortune, took loads of effort and in hindsight was a complete waste of time. That website has been really helpful though as PA/Office Manager work seems to pay quite well and there seems to be loads of jobs maybe I won't need to re-train after all !

jogrant3232
Thank you !

the andrews
Its funny as I always imagined that Personal Trainers would be 10 a penny out there (as everyone looks so healthy & glowy!!) so thats really good news. I might look at upgrading some of the courses I can teach too to give me more scope.

calNgary
I've always fancied being a hairdresser but at 36 I feel like the experience that i could get wouldn't be enough and not sure that the wages would be either to be honest.

So everyones ears will be safe for now !!

Thanks again - its all been helpful.
