Hi there does anyone know of any good plumbing firms in or around Brisbane that are currently looking to take on experienced plumbers

Try the employment agencies. i got plumbing work with them and the money is not so bad $28 - $30 per hour. contact hays ask for a fella called Brad.

lots of work so don't think you have much to worry about finding somthing

But can you just get a job doing Plumbing or do you have to get all the licences etc first??? Don't you have to start as a Plumbers mate?

I did hear but not sure if true that the licence was easier to get in Adelaide and that Plumbing was not so easy in Queensland due to the regulations!

I did work without a provisional licence first or all but to get a provisional licence is not hard.

Adelaide does a class course that you can do on wednesday nights or on fridays. To my knowledge QLD does not do a class course. Cairns might do.
