Account Managers within Marketing Agencies

Hi All,

I keep on reading about people earning less in Aus then back in the UK, is this the case for all jobs or specific ones.

Reason i ask is that i was told by a guy at work (aussie) that marketing pays comparitivly better, any advise would be apprciated.

I'm in the same boat as you - sorry cannot offer any advice at the moment, but if I find out any more information I'll post a new thread.

OH is a Graphic Designer, I must admit reading the majority of job related and migrating threads most folks going to Oz seem to be tradesmen so we're a little apprehensive about finding work particularly as we'll probably be going on a skilled regional sponsored visa to South Australia

hey thanks for the response. Thats what exactly thoughts were that everyone seems to be trades people and they are taking a dip in salary will that apply to me also as all my calculations are based on a similar salary to yhe uk.
