my husband matt is going to sydney with his work i was wondering whether i would be leagal to work on my qualifications i have a nvq 2 in health and social care and was a home care manager with 30 carers who worked for me but i only did this for 6 months at managment level as i left to start my own retail business which i also nhave a level 2 in retail skills would i get a skilled visa on these qualifications???? any advice would be great thankyou xx michelle hiley
i mostly dealt with the elderly in their own homes but also have various courses such as moving and handling and meds training..

im going as spouse with hubby on his business visa so was hoping to find some work myself as the kids will be at school thought i needed to be skilled to work is this not true then???

I came on hubbys visa and have NVQ2 like you ,i applied for 3 support worker/home care jobs and was offered them all ,just bring all your certs(m&h,food hygiene,etc)and you shouldnt have a problem getting something,,as your hubby is on a buisness visa are there restrictions to what hours etc you can work?

Can pm you a couple of names of aged care providers who I used to recruit for that I know are always on look out for quality in home support carers and aged care/dimentia. Does disability field appeal at all, large network in Syd has own casual bank which pay ok I believe if interested.
