Looking for qa work possibly in Brewery?

Hi all,

I'm just starting out on the long route to finding a job in Oz.

As I'm not classed as a tradesman despite having an IOB in brewing, I'm looking to go the sponsored visa route (possibly). I've worked in breweries in the UK for 15 yrs doing qa and lab work.

I would be grateful to hear from anyone in this line of work, or has experience regarding looking for work in this area, or even better anyone with contacts in the industry in Oz.

I will look at any typeof QA/QC work not just brewing.

My preferred area would be Perth or Adelade but will look at anywhere else.

I'll give it another bump, you never know.

I'm going to ring GoMatilda and see if they can suggest any ideas.

Although I have worked in brewery qa labs I will look at other QA /QC type work.

Perth area would be nice but not essential.

Beer taster in Oz - you can imagine the stampede for interviews if it was ever advertised!!!

Have you contacted the main breweries? use www.yell.com.au to get their details.

how about Swan Brewery they are pretty big up in Perth......hard to find a website though as been looking for a mate who is an Account Manager with Brains Brewery in Wales and wants to come over and work here.
