graduate healthcare jobs

Hi, I did an earlier post on graduate physio jobs but no one has replied yet. Am I the only one in this position!! The same prospects and difficulties probably apply to other health professions. Any one out there with no post grad experience wanting to move to Oz or already there ?? Help!!

hi guys, i will eventually be the same a grad nurse and want to get to oz asap after qualifying, my only way is on a sponsorship visa or wait a year to get experience! so sponsorship it will be !

How long did it take you to get sponsored and where did you start? I'm gonna use an agent as there's just me and my 12 year old daughter so I need support. Thought I'd get an agent and start the process before job hunting..... or not not sure whats best! I'm hoping Oz is desperate for Physios of any grade.

i dont have sponsorship yet but i have good contact with ramsay healthcare who are australias biggest private healthcare group you should contact them see what they say, or you could more than likely obtain state sponsorship from which ever state you would like to go to?

Cheers, thanks for that. I'm not really that bothered which state I go to as long as its not up north. Agent advised to go where ever I get a sponsor. I dont want to restrict my opportunities. I love Sydney but probably too expensive for me at the mo. Only gonna have one wage to live off... unless I send my 12 year old out to earn!!

Have you got your qualifications recognised by the Oz Physio Board?

Global Health Source - Allied Health Professionals Recruiters, Perth Western Australia were really good at finding me a sponsor, it was really quick. They also have done all the immigration side of things - which the sponsor pays for.
