Require Civil/Structural/Electrical Engineers in Bunbury WA

Hi my name is Adrian and I work for an international consulting engineering company. We are actively looking for the above engineers to work in our Bunbury Office in South West WA. The office is based two hours south of Perth and is classed as a region and after the recent announcement by the Govt that they will require new migrants to work in regions this will assist you in obtaining your visa.

The company will look to sponsor you on a 4-5-7 visa and will assist with your relocation and application.

Please PM me if you would like to be considered for our vacancies and I will pass your cv onto my Director.

thanks

Adrian

Forgot to say that my employer will also consider sponsorship for the permanent visa 6 months after you commence employment in Australia. They will assist with moving costs, visa costs and short term rental upon arrival.

Hello Adey

We have a young member called jamesterror.

James father is an electrical engineer aged 47. He is thinking about the possibiity of a move to Oz but he would have to do the Engneers Australia (I guess) skills assessment first. He would be looking for an ENS visa ultimately though a 457 would be a good starting point and, as you have said, Bunbury is regional which is even better if the potential candidate is a bit over 45.

(Age is irrelevant for the 457 visa and there is an age exemption on the ENS visa. Since Electrical Engineer is on the MODL there would be no problem at all with getting the age exemption in this particular case.)

At the moment I am waiting for James to say exactly what sort of electrical engineering his father does. I know almost nothing about electricity but I am pretty sure there are different types of electrical engineer? That is, they specialise in different sorts of work?

Are you able to say anything more specific about the sort of electrical engineering work that is needed and/or if the man you want is called an XYZ Engineer in the trade, please could you tell me what XYZ stands for in this context?

Obviously I am anxious not to waste your time or James' father's time if he is not the right type of electrical engineer for the work you are involved with.

Many thanks

Gill

Hi Gill
The electrical engineer we are looking for actually designs the electric circuits for building layouts, eg industrial, commercial and housing.

Just to put you in the picture, we may have a subdivision (a large plot of land that we intend to develop for housing / industry etc.). It would be the engineers responsibility to develop the site for the power / electrical layout to Western Power's standards, so that each unit has power.

I have been informed that our requirements are for a designer / drafter. So they can not only carry out the electrical designs but also undertake the drawing side of it as well (drafting is a bonus).
