Im getting a bit nervous now, I have an interview on the 5th of March for a panel beating job in Melbourne. Although I am pretty confident in my qualifications and my ability in my job I am feeling more nervous than I have for any other interview. I have a wife and 2 kids, a girl who is 2 years old and a 4 month old boy, we are a young family and we have always wanted to move to Aus and the oppertunity has come up for a sponsored visa which is a great help as we dont have to save quite as much money!
Do any of you who have made the move have hints and tips for the interview? I have done some research of the company who the interview is with and I have also researched the local areas and also general things about the country, Prime Minister, Population, Currency etc. I know that some will see this as pointless but I like to know about the company I might be working for and it makes me feel better that if they throw in a few questions about Aus or the local area of Melbourne I will be able to answer.
Well folks, wish me luck, I will let you all know as soon as possible.
How far along are you guys in your plans? Have you got a job offer? Do you have an idea of where you will live on the gold coast?
