working in oz

Hi new here. we are looking to move to oz and are in the early stages of the process. I am a wood machinist and cnc programmer / operrator by trade and are considering moving to Melbourne. Can anyone tell me whether there is much work for wood machinists?

welcome to pio. my hubby is a metal machinist and also a cnc programmer and a cad operator, we are hoping to go to new south wales, i am sure there is someone on here who will give you some advice and info.also go on seek.com its australias job website its a good site to get a rough idea on jobs in your particular area . good luck and again welcome. we are a friendly bunch.
