my hubby just phoned a few salons to ask them - used yell.au and looked through areas he wanted to go. it all depends on experience. the phone calls cost us less than £3 for 10mins, they were very helpful. we rang at night as they are 11 hrs ahead.

I have got 2 jobs lined up in oz, and for full time they are offering $36,000... Soz i haven't got my maths head on now to work out per hour... I have 20yrs experience, and i think that i am offered the basic pay...

my hubby is a barber and was told for his 20yrs experience he would be looking at $20-25 per hour. that is about £8-10 per hr. he owns his own barber shop currently.
