Locksmiths in Perth

We already have our pr visas I got them on my hairdressing, my OH is a chippie and thinking of doing a locksmiths course my question is should he do it here in the UK or wait till we get to Perth. Also sorry only one more question do you think he will get much work over there as a locksmith or even combine with carpentry ?

there is not much point in doing a locksmith course over here as there is no formal qualification for it in the uk so won't mean a thing in oz on it's own without any work experience.
what type of course is he lookig at if it is one of the 2/3 day ones then i wouldn't bother as they only teach you the very basic principles of locksmithing. if you look in the right places you will find more on the net than the training course.
