Can I get a hairdressing job - Hairdresser Cert III Newly Qualified

Hi

I am thinking of paying for a course either in Brisbane School for Hairdressing, Matters of Gray or Perth Institute.

If I was to gain the Hairdressers Cert III how likely am I going to be to get work, sponsored or a permenant visa?

Is this is a good way about it? Otherwise I would have to train in the UK and that takes a lot longer.

Many thanks.
Michelle

Hi there, this is how my friend got in too, she went to a UK Expo and spoke to a hair salon stand over a year ago who advised her to try this avenue, they are in Queensland though. Under her visa she is able to do the course and work for a max on 20 hours per week ( to afford rent etc ) and is living the dream.
As her partner has gone with her too of the back of her student visa he is also limited to max 20 hours per week, however they live in a lovely 4 bed place and can even afford to spend the weekends out and about....boy how the other half live hey.
It is very doable.
