Accountant jobs in Perth

Hi

My husband is currently studying and will be qualified in 3 years. He is studying CIMA.

However, I was wondering are there many jobs in the area and are they really desperate for Accountants? Does anyone know the wages?

I would love to move out there before he qualifies and he finishes his studies in Oz. It doesnt look as though we would get a visa unless he is qualfiied.

Any advice would be fantastic.

Hi, Migration agents give you some good free advice try calling Go Matilda and Ian Harrops etc....
I think that you are correct in saying that you need the qualifications to migrate now as things changed on the 1st September, the other route would be sponsorship from a Company in Australia.

Also try looking at the website
Job Search - Australian jobs - Job listing - Find a job - CareerOne also

www.hays.com.au

They may give you an idea of Accountant jobs.

Sorry cant help any further but someone else may answer you that works in this field.

Regards

Hi

Hey Angel

I am in the same boat as your o/h. I have a degree in accounts and work as a trainee accountant but still havent sat my professionals which will take me 3 years. I would luv to go to oz withouth having to do all the exams becauses 3 years is too long for impatient me Plus I feel that although accounts is becoming an 'international language' (apparantly) there will be differences so why do more exams regardind UK standards etc when i will be living and working in oz?

It would be great if we could keep in touch and hopefully help eachother along. Which visa is it u guys will be going on? We are hoping to settle in secret harbour or port kennedy what about u? What is it u do - could u maybe get there with your skills?

I have pm'd you.

We are looking to move to Perth on a permenant skilled visa. I feel the same as you 2 years is too long. We have planned a holiday for Dec 09 just to take the edge off the wait. I am so excited and frustrated at the wait. At least it will feel an achievement. The area in Perth we are looking into is Hillary's, Scarborough or Currambine. Mainly on my sister in laws recommendations. I will have a look around next year into more details on area, schools and hospitals.

I am starting my nurse training in september. It would seem as soon as Bruce puts in for his visa I will only have a year left. By the time it all goes through I will be a newly qualified nurse. Thats if I have the brains
