what job title??

hi
my husband is a commercial catering & laundry engineer here in the UK..he installs, maintains and repairs commercial equipment in hotels, nursing homes and restaurants etc. he also is a qualified PAT and smoke alarm tester..what job title would he have in oz?? i have looked on the net at jobs etc but cant seem to get it down to a definate title!! can anyone point me in the right direction

you must look on the govnt web sitie Department of Immigration and Citizenship and look for your oh job title on the sol or modl list just type modl / or sol in the search box at the top of the page

me again if you go on to Immigration to Australia - Australian Visa and Immigration Services Online - Live in Australia and look for sol / modl /list . it gives you a detailed job description for each job cheers keily ..

Failing that have a chat with agent about what category to apply for,most will offer the advice free of charge (pretty sure visa bureau and go matilda will),we too couldnt decide on a job category but the agent advised us to apply as diesel fitter not diesel mechanic as we would have done(fitter was more points so better for us),hope that makes sense ,i know your hubby is a different trade but this should give you an idea,,good luck
