Engineer Fitter- Moving Tools

Hey people,

We are just bout to put in application, hubbie is an engineer fitter going on subclass 175.

Would like to know what is the best way to send heavy tools to OZ? As he has heard that australian tools are of poor quality.

Any ideas or advice?

Just an Idea are you taking furniture? if so why not try pop it in the same container, email a shipping company and ask if its possible, i know can take tools but dont know if theres a limit.

Where in Stoke-on-trent are you from? we are from werrington.

Hmmm! I was told before I came here that all houses had toilets outside at the bottom of the garden.

And that was only twelve yrs ago?

As for tools you can get them from the full spectrum of quality from handyman through to professional quality.

were from not so fabulous Fenton. Thanks for the tip, we will enquire, were not planning to take much furniture starting afresh in OZ. where u thinkin of emigrating to? have you putin application yet?

I will let my hubbie know bout tools, he has some decent ones though think he wants to keep them.-Thanks for info.

to ship the hubbys tools we put them through a hot engine wash(they have to be pretty clean) ,packed them into new plastic tool boxes and sent them no problem.You can get decent tools out here but there is a lot of chinese crap,it depends what you want to pay,

Hey Thanks for that info bout the hot wash, will pass it onto hubbie, dont think he will want any chinese stuff! What does ya hubbie do?

it worked a treat at bringing 10 yr old tools clean ,lol!!hubby is a diesel mechanic ,we got the visa as a diesel fitter,he works part time on the gold coast,they are screaming for competant guys round that way,,
