Will i have any problems finding work?

I've checked all the online jobsearches and there seems to be loads of jobs avaliable but i was just wondering if anyone could confirm that a pom can easily get a job.

I'm moving to the gold coast and initially will be happy to do almost anything, ideally i'm looking at labouring, welding fabrication basically anything hands on that pays a bit over min wage.

I've got loads of uk qualifications (gas, welding, forklift etc) and experience, but need to pay the bills whilst i retrain.

Can anyone reasure me, please

Life on easy street is on a distinguished road
I am an electronics technician

The current boom is concentrated in the mining & building trades
and to a lesser extent in IT.

some of the other trades the situation is much the same as the U.K

I have had 2 temp job,s
have been unble to get a perment job in Elecronics so far.

Licence to sneeze
One of the things to watch out for is licences

Example
you need a licence to install network cables.
one week course + 15 weeks as a trianee and the licence last
for only 2 years!.

I dont think you will have any problems securing a job on the gold coast or in brisbane ,especially with you being flexible as to what you do,,everyone i have relocated has had jobs before they left here theres plenty of work out there ,,good luck with everything
