We are off to Brisbane area in 3 weeks, everything is fine except my husband is concerned about finding work, he is a roof tiler & slater and needs to know if anyone can provide us with any information.

Hiya if you head for any new build estate and ask around the guys are normally pretty helpful.You can also get the jobs paper here on a saturday (courier mail) which has lots of construction jobs,theres also the white pages on line (like yellow pages) you can look companys up and approach them when you arrive.The rate houses are being built on these new lnad estates i dont think youll have much of a problem finding work.Bear in mind thou, lots of houses here have colourbond (tin) roofs ,and arent tiled.hope this helps a little
