We have passed the TRAand have had our application acknowledged. Further contac could be anytime but things are slow at the moment as there have been many recent aplications.
Could you tell us what we could expext as far as wages and job specifications are concerned, as we have little first hand knowledge of what a skilled person working in this trade can expect.
We look forward to hearing from you by return, Best Regards, Paul and Ilya

Hiya Paul & Ilya
Good to see were remembered by WDU you will have to see the update In Jan/Feb of WDU "revisited" to see how were getting on, Donovan is working for Master Kelwin (the co he worked for on WDU) on a self employed basis, but his take home pay vaires from job to job , he earns around $2000/$2500 per week but has been known to earn $3000, thats a hard weeks work though, it just depends on how much you lay in a day. He would need to partner up with someone to make things easier, but you will probably find someone in the UK that is doing the same thing as you that would be interested. Donovan met someone from the forums, and they get on really well and his wife is lovley too, so thats an extra bonus.
Depending on where you want to live you will not have any hassle in Paul finding work as they are in so much demand over here, I know a guy in Brisbane that Donovan worked for first that is crying our for fitters, but again I am sure we could sort you our on the /gold Coast as well.
Where do you live in the UK?
If I can be of any help let me know or PM me if you want to
Good luck with your journey, it will be worth it in the end
Take Care
