Job Prospects - Welder (1st Class)

Hi there,

Is anyone / know of any Welders (1st Class, stainless steel, pressure vessels etc. ASME IX) in Perth area. Before we start the application process we want to make sure that the wages will be ok, hourly rates if poss !

hi as a pruduction manager for a stainless fabrications company for a rough guide the going rate is from $ 22 too $ 30 an hour but i would stress this is for the sydney area ( central coast ) so it maybe a bit less as brissbane rates are $22 to $28 that i am currently paying out on .............

Don't know f you ever use this site Redwing Boots - Kromer Welding Caps - Welding Jobs - Welding Caps - Welders - Coded Welders - Welding Helmets - Lapco - Red Wing Boots but there are lots of blokes on there that work as welders in Perth and can give lots of contacts etc.

Also in the job section they are also offering sponsorship to Perth or Brisbane paying $80.000 pa.

Also if you look under the jobs and general forum you will see lots of threads to do with welding/pipe welding in Oz.
