If any body has been reading my threads you will no we are trying to get to Oz,we where hoping to go on a permanent visa through skilled,but most of you will no that they have taken the skill out of the skill lol.Since they changed the pathway you have to have at least 3-5 yrs cert. and training within a college or uni.
I just did not know where to turn because every corner I turned I hit a brick wall.
Anyway I decided to ring Ama an agent to get some advice.
She told me I was correct in what I was saying,before Oct 1st they went on qualifications and also skills leant within the job.Well surprise surprise when they changed the pathway they took the skilled bit out.And as my Oh has only got 1 year training and 24 yrs experience we can't follow that pathway But she had some good news Apparently the Australian Gov. are up in arms about this change in the pathway as they did not enforce it.And they have said by Jan 08 there has to be another pathway put in or the original one put back.
We where going to try the sponsored route but think we will wait till Jan now as it could take that long,or longer to get a sponsor.She also the reason the Australian Gov are not happy is because alot of visa's have been turned down for this reason and they are not getting the trades in quick enough.
So I suppose all in all it is good news.I hope I have not gone on to much,and hope the information was informative.
I will now unstick the Dictionary from my head to many long words in there for me LOL
