It Jobs In Brisbane Or Adelaide Help!

Hi,

We are just researching where we would be best to settle in Oz and a big factor will be my other half's career prospects but we are looking at Brisbane or Adelaide.

He is MCSA/MCSE qualified amongst other IT related things and we were wondering about average salaries. He is currently in a junior manager's position in the UK earning £42k per year. Assuming he could get the same type of role, can anyone give us a clue what kind of money he could look at earning? Any help or advice on this subject would be greatly appreciated!!

It has quite a bit of salary information and you can navigate from here to the job search page on Yahoo, where you will be able to enter the keywords (MCSE etc.) to get a better idea.

Generally, as far as I can tell, salaries are slightly less. But then houses in some areas are cheaper. At the end of the link above is a pay rise calculator which can actually give a good indication of take home pay, so you can see the salaries in real living terms.
