i am a baker and just wondering if anybody can help me by telling me where in oz they are in demand ,i have looked into adelaide there seems to be a lot of bakeries there,then i researched nsw but all the jobs are in sydney (cant afford it) i am now looking at the gold coast looks lovely any suggestions

Have a look at the Woolworths website they now advertise jobs on-line,our local woolys has been advertising for bakers for a while ,so maybe theres a shortage around Brisbane too ,the site may give you an idea ,also check out seek.com.

We are in SE Melbourne and there are 6 adds for bakers/apprentice bakers in our local this week, if there is one thing the Aussies love nearly as much as their cricket its a pastie ( which they pronounce paarsty?) :?

There were afew job ads in courier mail yesterday for bakers at variting places in Brisbane ,the proper jobs come out on Sat you can link to it by going on the courier mail and clicking jobs ,hope this helps
