I Still have vacancies in Geelong

Hi All,

I still need to find some good water design Engineers and road and transport Engineers for my office in Geelong.

Visas can be sponsoired for the right applicants.

We are an Australian based international firm of high retupation and good standing.

Look at www.ghd.com.au

Unfortunately we can't spell for toffee......

Tim, can we please have a spell-check function, or an edit function (the latter of which should be a simple process of flicking a contriol on the board to Edit=On)

Thanks

Fraser,

Sorry to bother you on a non post specific subject, but would GHD have any use for the sub-contract services of an engineer with over 20 years experience in the fibre optic and comm's field?
I'm applying for a state sponsored visa (Qld) this week and expect to be in Brisbane during the early part of 08'
I need to start drumming potential work up already and making contacts.

Any help - gratefully recieved.

Regards

Dave Brennand

Hi Dave,

Unfortunately our Qld offices don't seem to do much in Telecoms. (Although our Melbourne office certainly does. I don't know why there is a difference in services provided.)

Sorry.

Vacancy in Geelong

Hi,

I have had my skills assessed by VETASSESS as a mathematician and am currently waiting patiently for a reply from victoria re state sponsorship. I am a software developer/system tester. I have 10 years experience in UK defence industry on various projects including warhead modelling and sonar research. Wondering if you would have any use for me or maybe know of anyone else who might.

Thanks

Daniel

We certainly have a defence division. I will ask internally and PM you.

Have looked at both ADI and Tenix but with Defence work they require citizenship. Although there are citizenship waivers I am looking at other avenues as I would like to broaden my horizons and chances of finding work.

FWIW Warhead modelling is probably pretty specialised stuff (I did a few years with the MOD doing analysis of rocket motors a long, long time ago,....) ... The Sonar skillset might be easier to sell... there are certainly commercial applications.

I am still waiting on feedvback internally on any oppoertunities with GHD.

Not that specialised really, mainly CFD and FEA. It may be easier if I sent you my CV, if that is OK with you.
