Wonder if anyone can help
All going to plan my wife & I are hoping to fly out to Melbourne by the year end. I'm a Health & Safety advisor here in the UK & I was wondering if anyone out there has any experience/knowledge of the H&S game in Oz. My background is (originally Fitter & Turner by trade) engineering, chemical plants, demolition and some construction. Bit of a long shot but I thought I'd ask.

Hi, I too am a H&S Advisor, mostly construction and nuclear. I have done a bit of research in this area but unfortunately it appears that we would have to re-sit (I currently hold NEBOSH cert and Dip). One major problem is that the law is different, not only Australian but each state as well. If you find anything out that sounds more optimistic than this please let me know!! I have contacted Qld safety council and this is the consensus I got!! Good luck.
