Actually working
Hi there!
We are on a couple of months holiday before we arrive in Sydney and that on top of the relaxed London work environment could prove a stressful introduction the aussie workplace.
The question being - what is it like in an aussie office? I've heard they work really hard, is there chatter, do lunches exist etc. Just trying to get my expectations to the proper level :)
Also is there anyone who can help me with tales of their recruitment and pay package negotiation experiences? Did your companies haggle? What sort of benefits come as standard as opposed to needing to push for etc.
