jobs on gold coast for brickies

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know what the job situation is like at the moment on the gold coast for time served bricklayers, my husband will be 46 in may this yr, we have our visas in place and just need to sell up to go!! I have heard that there is high unemployment out there at the moment, and i dont want us to get all the way there and have to return cause we cant make a living.

It's a tough one, I may be able to get you some contacts but it could take a week to get hold of the person who can help, if you want me to just send me a pm.
In regards to most tradie jobs they are usually all based on being self employed so it could be a case of having some work one week but none the next. Hopefully some brickies may be able to advise you better.
