We are currently seeking qualified and experienced Thermit Welders for ongoing projects in Western Australia.

To be considered you MUST have:

 

 

  • Current Aluminothermic ticket (essential)
  • Previous Thermit Welding experience
  • Current Brookfield Track Access
  • Current Certificate in Rail Infrastructure
  • White Card

 

You must also have;

 

 

  • Excellent OHS and communication skills
  • Australian citizen, Permanent resident or full work rights
  • A safe and mature approach to your work and fellow colleagues

 

 

The hourly rate pays very well plus penalties. You should be prepared to work shifts where necessary.

 

We pay weekly and treat our staff well. Only reliable people who are committed to safety need apply.

Does working in the uk with thermite welding experience also mma mig maybe help here. i have 17 years quarry experience as a welder/fitter 5 years shipbuilding and 10 years with networkrail in the uk as leading trackman/technician with over 7 years track welding/grinding doing themite L80 ,head repairs,stressing etc question i ask is do i need to resit everything from start or does my sentinal card with proof of all upto date competencies count towards employment in Australia? heading out to Canberra later this year but willing to work FIFO basis .as Canberra doesn't have much rail work and im struggling to find any information within this so any help would be appreciated.if i do have to start all over again to get recognition in Australia qualifications is there any companies out there where i could retrain.thanks scott
