hi, we're hoping to go to Adelaide in the not too distant future and we're using Crown Relocation. They have a branch in Livingston. We got quotes from Crown, White & Co, Anglo Pacific, Hoults and Doree Bonner. Whites & Anglo were about the same price wise and so we asked if Crown would match or better their quotes and they did. If you don't ask you don't get and all that...! Hoults were the exception...they were mega expensive in my opinion.
For us, it all came down to price, storage options (we got 2 months free storage) and the feeling we got from the rep.
They're coming a week tomorrow so I'll let you know how they go!

Perth international removals
Hi Kev, I've just joined this forum and whilst looking around noticed you were looking to come to Perth. I work for TransGlobal Shipping & Storage and we specialise in international moves and do a lot to and from the UK. We've moved quite a number of people from Edinburgh. As a guide to timeframe, it depends upon volume - if you have a full container it will be around 6 weeks, and less is longer. You can email me on any questions you have operations@transglobalshipping.com.au and I'll be happy to help.

Moving from Edinburgh to Perth WA
Thanks for the reply Dave,
Would you be so kind to inform us what constitutes a full container?
Weights and dimension wise.
Cheers
