Hi Waliam. If it's new your after there is a bargain furniture place at Helensvale, I can't remember the name but it's on the same retail park as the Good Guys and is on the corner at the back. I've heard SuperAMart is good, but haven't been myself. Must admit I always fall back on Ikea especially for bookcases, storage and things like that.

If it's second hand try the Salvos.

If you like auctions, Lloyds at Carrara sometimes have general furniture sales, but I've checked their website and they haven't got any listed before xmas. x

It's probably Fantastic? Still haven't been to the new Homeworld myself, hubby too tight! Bought some stuff from Super AMart, and it's been fine.
Furniture n More are having a sale in Burleigh Heads & Labrador, but don't know if any good.
There's also a big Lifeline shop in Molendinar, Industrial Avenue, that is similar to the Salvo's, and has loads of furniture; our landlord recommended it to us when we arrived.
Like HappyBunny, I always rely on Ikea too

Fantastic furniture, & Super A Mart all close together, they do good furniture packages as well just be aware that you may have to wait for the stock to come in which can be a total nightmare.

      Hope this helps

The Starter packages from fantasic furniture are great until you get on your feet ,or your shipment arrives. I bought lots from Ikea too although i do find the quality isnt great (especially with my kids, lol). Dont rule out Ebay if you have a way of collecting things, ute etc, there are some great bargains to be had on there.

If you don't go after what you want, you'll never have it. If you don't ask, the answer is always no. If you don't step forward, you're always in the same place...

If you arent averse to second hand just to tide you over until you see something that you really fall in love with then you could do worse than freecycle, people give away some very good stuff because they cant sell it.
