How to fill a 20ft Container?

We're nearly there now - flying out to Perth on August 17th.

In 3 weeks time, our shippers will be packing up our house. We have plenty of room, so can anyone answer the following questions:

1. Televisions - take or leave (can they be easily converted in Oz?)?

2. Are there any items hard to get or expensive we should load up on (for example, ASDA is selling really good cotton t-shirts, 3 for £3, so I've bought a few packs, Matalan have really good value dinner sets so I've bought a couple of sets)?

3. Any recommendations for a car-dealer in Perth, near Padbury if possible?

Thanks, guys!

Hi Bambi! if you have some spare money get to primark and stock up on bedding and towels ..all more expensive in Oz ..we have bought new quilts from Tesco (on special offer at the moment) to take with us, I have also bought LOADS of material for curtains, not to mention a new range cooker ...well we had room in the container so I am actually saving my OH LOADS of money coz they are more expensive in Oz! How considerate a wife am I! LOL!

Safe journey to your new life! ...we too are flying on 17th august but we are having a holiday in san francisco on the way.

Thanks for that, Curly!

The bedding seems like a good idea, I'll get onto it today while Tesco is still on sale!

I seem to remember that you're not supposed to bring items less than 12 months old - we'd bought a dinner service, unpacked it and wrapped it in newspaper and put it back in box. How they know I've no idea but we didn't want to get caught doing something we weren't supposed to lol
