Hi,

We bough copies of both dentists and Doctors notes with us, just in case it was needed. My daughter needed braces in England and we have since had them fitted in Oz, so she definately needed hers.

Having sais that, I also had a tooth taken out here and they looked at my previous noted from England. So I would say that if you can bring them, then do....just in case!

Heather

Dont think dental notes are really needed unless youve had a bad reaction to an injection or anything like that
When you register your dentist will more than likley take a load of xrays on your first visit this will tel him/ her what youve had done in the past and anything that needs doing now
Anyhow dentists are a bit reluctant to give origional notes as the law in england states that all notes are to be kept for 12 years or till the patient is 21 best you can do is ask for a summery of your past treatment
Hope this helps

graham$nic is an unknown quantity at this point
Hi we only paid for a brief outline of our notes from the doctors, and only for me hubby and youngest daughter as she had a milk allergy but not for the other two and that cost 80 pound for 3 small paragrahs. Since we have been here we have seen the doctor but they just had a quick read and handed them back. On our first visit to doctors they asked us all the question's on our medical history.
As for dentist's we paid 170 pound for xrays and notes just hubby and i, again never asked for when we went so a waste of money, also my daughter needed braces which were going to be fitted in the uk but was told as were leaving for oz it was to late to have it done.Since arriving here the dentist has said she will not need braces thank god.
